 চীন থেকে কেনা সিনোফার্মের করোনার টিকার আরেকটি চালান ঢাকায় এসে পৌঁছেছে। সিনোফার্মের ৫৪ লাখ এক হাজার ৩৫০ ডোজ করোনার টিকা গতকাল শুক্রবার দিবাগত রাতে দেশে এসে পৌঁছায়। গত ৩ জুলাই বাণিজ্যিক চালান শুরুর পর এটি বাংলাদেশে সিনোফার্মের টিকার ষষ্ঠ চালান।

বিমান বাংলাদেশ এয়ারলাইন্সের একটি ফ্লাইট টিকার চালান নিয়ে শুক্রবার দিবাগত রাত পৌনে ১টার দিকে হযরত শাহজালাল আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে অবতরণ করে। এরপর টিকার চালান বুঝে নেন স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের পরিচালক ডা. শামসুল হক।

এর আগে ঢাকায় নিযুক্ত চীনা দূতাবাসের ডেপুটি চিফ অব মিশন হুয়ালং ইয়ান গতকাল শুক্রবার রাতে সামাজিক যোগাযোগমাধ্যম ফেসবুকে এক পোস্টে চীনের টিকার চালান বাংলাদেশে আসছে বলে জানান।

হুয়ালং ইয়ান বলেন, চীন থেকে বাণিজ্যিকভাবে ক্রয় করা টিকার চালান শনিবার (আজ) ঢাকা পৌঁছাবে।

হুয়ালং ইয়ান বলেন, ‘বাংলাদেশের কৌশলগত অংশীদার হিসেবে যখনই প্রয়োজন হবে, চীন সর্বদা সবচেয়ে নির্ভরযোগ্য সরবরাহকারী হিসেবে পাশে থাকবে।’

এর আগে গতকাল দুপুরে স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণমন্ত্রী জাহিদ মালেক জানান, চলতি মাসে চীন থেকে দুই কোটি ডোজ করোনার টিকা আসবে। এর মধ্যে (শনিবার) ৫০ লাখ ডোজ আসবে। এ মাসে এমন চারটি শিডিউল রয়েছে। এখন থেকে আগামী নভেম্বর মাস পর্যন্ত প্রতি সপ্তাহে ৫০ লাখ ডোজ করে আসবে। এসব টিকা পাওয়ার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে টিকা কার্যক্রম জোরদার করা হবে বলে জানান তিনি।
